The Attic Door is a four-person independent collective making games that linger. Founded by the team behind Heartworm, the studio focuses on narrative horror experiences - more interested in unease than spectacle. Their next project is currently in development.
Heartworm is a retro survival horror video game I started creating in my free time in 2019 and released in 2025 (check it out on Steam). I started alone on the art, code, music, marketing, and promotional materials, and eventually was picked up by DreadXP to publish it - so I hired and led a small team to finish the game.
GA.com is the primary public-facing site for Global Atlantic Financial Group (GAFG) built on Drupal. I maintain, prototype, and update the CSS design system for this site and the others. I also help with more complex content updates and new modules & features.
GA.com/professionals is the professional-only platform for GAFG. We recently upgraded major versions of Drupal, and with that also refreshed the design system. This site is the standard now for the GAFG brand, and the rest of the sites are being worked on to bring it up to this standard.
Preneed is an integral business subsite for GAFG. It runs on an older version of Drupal, and is in line for migration and to be brought up to design standards.
The GAFG intranet is employee-only, but I support the content and design requirements just as I do the public-facing properties.
Transmute.io was a passion project turned startup of mine. I wanted to build a low-fee, peer-to-peer marketplace for Magic the Gathering cards - think Amazon for a specific niche of nerds. It was extremely challenging to plan, design, build, launch, and market it myself, but after many long nights - I did. And it failed, but that's okay.Transmute ran on PHP, MySQL, AngularJS, Stripe, and a custom server solution. It was home to over 5,000 active users at its peak.
DePaul's Viewbooks were designed as interactive promotional materials for each of the University's schools. I took the Figma designs and developed a reusable, modular design system based on the existing global design system to create multiple, dynamic pages in an efficient manner. They were built on Sharepoint, using SASS, Bootstrap, and jQuery.
These design systems are drafts of what would end up being finalized internal design system guides for content creation. I created these using HTML, SASS, and as-needed Javascript/jQuery.
Stories was my first project at DePaul. I had to build a Wordpress theme based on in house designs within a very strict educational Wordpress install. I finished it on my first day and my boss told me to slow down.
At Antelope, I developed on the front end for a number of small to medium size businesses based on in house designs. We worked very closely with clients, and I would meet with them regularly to discuss updates or blockers.
